Procurement 101: Closing

At this point in this course, you have learned many hard skills that will propel your career in Interior Design. Now I'd like to share a few soft skills to help you land your dream job.

In running Virtual Design Assistant, I have talked to hundreds of Interior Designers. They tell me about their businesses, their pain points, and most of all- what they need help with the most. In finding professional candidates for these positions, there are so many times that I open up a resume and say out loud "What were they thinking??"

Your resume and portfolio are there to present you in your best light. PLEASE do not send me a unformatted Word Doc to convince me you are a good designer.
